SYA and CYA players still make up the older ages. Also, there are many talented u littles (u12 annd below) and they don’t come from valor.

If you have endless money to throw down the drain and don't care about development this is the club for you.


It honestly depends on the coaches. Some are great and some suck (unfortunately). All clubs have this problem, that is not just Valor.

It seems there is this narrative of Valor taking advantage of SYA and CYA to get access to better fields. (Not trying to argue that point) Included with our high Valor fees has been a weekly session at the Chantilly Fieldhouse. What I'm trying to ask is why does Valor have access? Is it because of that relationship or are they paying for it? I was just pointing out that for all Valor does wrong having that weekly activity "Included" has been nice.


THey have access because they are one part of the merge. CYA and SYA. SYA brought the grass field space and CYA brought the field house. A couple years ago CYA was not so generous with their field house space it has seemed to shift now.

The County disagrees. It is really hard for orgs without rec leagues to get access to any county turf fields for practices. That's why the st james had so many problems with fields. Clearly Valor has found a loophole where financially they are separate from the rec leagues but they use the rec leagues field space. If Valor tried to get their own field space from the county, they would not get much or any b/c they do have their own rec league.

Not sure why the people who run CYA and SYA are OK with this as they are supposed to be running a program for rec sports and rec players. ($$$ changing hands???)


This is because the people who run cya and say are the same people who are running Valor. The money is otn valor,.so that is what they prioritize. It is the volunteers who run rec and advocate for field space, but they don't make the decisions.
