You are local?

Yes, local the prep schools are in NE, PA and IN.

We need more info from you.

What does your DS think? How do you feel about sending DS away? Eg, we'd consider only for a post-grad yr if DS was obsessed with playing lax in college and had some D1 school goal or something but not before then. It would need to be full-ride or very close to consider. DS probably would have no interest anyway.

Does your kid play for one of the highly ranked (for lax) local private schools and club teams? If so, why bother? What big pros would there be to having your DK leave home early?

For what school years? Freshman or just a post-grad yr? How competitive are the boarding schools in lax and what level of teams do they compete against in their leagues?

WCS also draws from the entire western US. DCE is local kids. The level of lacrosse in the west is improving as well.

WCS lost its first 2 games.

DCE beat Crabs 8-2 and then immediately played WCS, DCE was up 6-5 and WCS scored with a few seconds left on a man up to end the game tied at 6-6.

I hope you are not reacting to an email sent to attendees of the recent 3D Prep school event. My son did not attend but he still got plenty of “we were really impressed by your abilities” from many boarding schools.

I suspect Capital is taking up all of her time and that she doesn’t want even the appearance of a conflict of interest. Smart woman.

Maybe the Capital Club job is taking up all her time. She started fairly recently.

probably b/c the girls game is 100% better than the boys game, but most the of the neanderthals on here are too stupid to realize that

Unlike soccer, HS lacrosse tends be far superior to club. Also club lacrosse games tend to be running clocks, they don't play federation rules either.

Most teams in the IAC, minus STA and Episcopal, would probably beat the snot out of most club teams. I would say the same thing about Gonzaga too.
