That's just an insane story all around.
This guy was rumored to be one of the Embassy hostage takers but had recently started to hang around in the Orban/Millei right wing circle
The Israelis tried to bomb his front door to free him but blew up his house and seriously injured him. Whoops. No wonder he's in hiding.
And now someone burns him for a yet to be revealed reason.
Pakistan deployed 8,000 troops, a Chinese air defence system and warplanes to Saudi Arabia: Report

The Persian Gulf Strait Authority (PGSA) is a newly established Iranian statutory regulatory body created by Iran's Supreme National Security Council to formalize and enforce bureaucratic control over commercial shipping transit through the Strait of Hormuz.

Key Objectives & Operations
Mandatory Permits: All merchant vessels seeking passage must coordinate fully with the PGSA by submitting a "Vessel Information Declaration" via email. This requires disclosing sensitive data, including ownership, cargo manifests, crew lists, and insurance details.
Transit Bans & Restrictions: The body explicitly bans all Israel-linked vessels, while U.S.-linked ships and those from "hostile countries" face severe restrictions or complete denial of access.
Toll Collection Mechanism: Acting effectively as a sovereign toll booth, the authority reportedly demands steep transit fees—up to $2 million per passage—settled in non-Western channels such as Chinese yuan or Bitcoin.
Enforcement & Corridors: Navigational compliance is enforced by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy. Ships are ordered to remain strictly within Iran-designated "approved corridors" or face interdiction.

Accept a deal that is much, much worse than the Obama deal, which he ripped up. This will include formal recognization of Iran's control over the Strait of Hormuz, abandoning all US bases in the Persian Gulf, including the HQ of the Fifth Fleet, and paying reparations.
Or resuming a deeply unpopular war that will take gas prices above $9 a gallon and cause a global recession. Which Iran will survive just fine since we can't invade a gigantic and very mountainous country of 92 million people. Bombing has its limits. And Iran will simply use its missiles and drones to destroy refineries and desalination plants in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, Bahrain, and Kuwait. Which would be catastrophic for everyone.
Did no one think things through in the White House when they launched this stupid war?
It's literally the stupidest thing the US has done in 80 years. Can't wait to hear more from Vance and Rubio justifying their support for this war. Either way, their presidential prospects are thoroughly sunk. And midterms will be a disaster for Republicans.

Why are they not reporting that we actually lifted sanctions on Russia and Iran to get crude oil? The same country we are fighting is making money because we need the oil to curtail the blocking of oil from the Strait of Hormuz?
We are a joke
