I saw players from all the local ECNL and MLSNext clubs. Maybe you all have it wrong, maybe this merger does net really good teams next year.
Curious to know the caliber of MLS Next players at an ECNL team tryout

What does sessions being merit based mean?
Merit based = based on skill
Truth is it is very hard to determine skills and merit from a couple of large ID sessions. These sessions tend to favor players who are able to be on the ball the most and the physical ones. When a coach knows a player and has seen their body of work over time, they know about their work ethic, how they treat teammates, how coachable they are, how their parents behave.

But the girls side seems to be saying the same evil geniuses sit there meekly while Brave coaches only take their girls leaving McLean girls to fend for themselves.
And I’m not sure has 2 nights of rain been part of the conspiracy.
Is it an angry JW? a plotting JA? who controls the weather in this elaborate scheme???
That is only 2008 on the girls' side. Both teams are good. It just happens that half will be cut. The Brave coach is leading the team. There is a conspiracy that the Brave coach is bringing his whole team
Brave parents think their kids are better since they are already on the team.

Green = McLean
Blue = Brave
Not so in our experience - blue was for top players from both.
Stupid way to evaluate players. Top vs weak? Way to get done with the final roster.
Doesn't matter because there is no offer out yet
A few are ..
Did you get one?
proof??
This is like any other tryout. Some invites are already out. Others will be rolling.
08G offers are out. MV being loyal to Brave. VA Union parents prepare to bend the knee.
All Brave players? both goalies too?
So far, no McLean players 2008G got offer yet only Brave
Not true.
Union parents keep hoping
