Blow up the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant. Putin just “promised” he would not do that.
Let’s take a look at Putin’s promises:
Russia will peacefully separate from Ukraine and other republics comprising the Soviet Union"
"Russia will guarantee the security of Ukraine in exchange for giving up nuclear weapons"
"Russia will have free and safe elections"
"Russia will not raise the pension age"
"Russia will never alter it's Constitution"
"Russia will never have another Tsar or Premier"
"Russia will not allow private militias"
"Russia will keep Wagner entirely independent from the Russian state"
"Russia will uphold the sovereignty of neighbors and partner states"
"Russia will keep out of the direct affairs of friendly states"
"Russia will never attack Ukraine"
"Russia will never retreat or lose territory"
"Russia will never send trainees to war"
"Russia will never conduct mobilization"
"Russia will never blow up the Kakhovka Dam"
["Russia will not blow up the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant"] - you are here.
But, but, but! Everyone should be in support of this war!
I mean okay I am speaking as someone who doesn’t care one yota for Ukraine sovereignty but don’t you people see that the other side is unhinged?! Why are you happy to risk so many innocent lives just to stick it to them?
Don’t bother responding, I know I will hear another “but democracy and freedom is on the line” retort.
I am a just a small person and I don’t care.

So be it. Now, we're helping fight against a country that has perfected them.
Tell me more about how you applaud an international court warrant for Putin with your right hand while fighting for all Americans to have immunity from that court with your left.
Tell me more about how you profess to despise illegal land grabs and ethnic cleansing out of the right corner of your mouth while granting unconditional support and money to Israel out of the left one.
Tell me more about your commitment to fight tyrants and spread democracy…once your mouth is on its scheduled break from fellating the Gulf dictators.
Tell me more about your moral quandaries while Russia soldiers rape toddlers to death.
DP but I think toddler rape was propaganda and exposed as such.

I think it’s important to distinguish that these will be used by Ukraine in Ukrainian territory. They can make the choice of the cost/benefit is worth it. These are not being used by a country on a foreign country, such as what Russia is doing by using them on Ukraine.

Exactly.
Just Biden showing some love to the Ukrainian freedom-fighters trying to take back their homeland, which was seized by the indicted war-criminal, Putin, and his illegitimate regime.
Like our President, I’m in favor of this war and I support using cluster bombs against Russian soldiers. It is the right thing to do.
Everyone should be in favor of this war.

Russia started with 3400 tanks, now has 1400. Ukraine started with 987, now has 1500.
Though Russia does still have an advantage where it comes to artillery. That is where HIMARS, Storm Shadows, ATACMS and other things will hopefully help them.
True the Russia likely still has an artillery quantity advantage but Ukraine has a huge advantage in guided artillery. Guided artillery is generally one shot hits. Russian unguided artillery makes a lot of holes in the ground to get a hit or requires many shots to level an entire area. Ukraine is now winning in artillery as well.
Yes. And combined with HIMARS and Storm Shadows they are doing a very good job of hitting ammo dumps, command and control, and troop concentrations well behind the lines.
The problem is that Ukrainians have to clear every trench. And that is brutal fighting that invariably leads to high casualties. The cluster munitions will definitely help with that. Can't get there soon enough. The remaining problem is mines, both anti-tank and anti-personnel. That's what's making it such a grind. The Russians have had a year to mine every approach to their positions. Unless there's a collapse in Moscow, it's going to be a terrible slog to get the Russians out.
If you ever wonder why the US spends a gazillion dollars on air power, that's why. American troops will never have to fight in a trench. Air superiority changes everything. Hopefully the F-16's will make a difference later this year.
Luckily, our great nation is showing Ukraine some love, in the decision to send them cluster munitions.
These little “good will gestures” will rain down by the millions, like gifts from heaven, on the poor Mobiks miserably huddled in their muddy trenches, put them out of their misery, and ease their passage on to the next life.
US cluster munitions: when you care enough to send the very best.

Those sound like great conversations to have after Russia loses. Like we are going to stop arming Ukraine over international court issues that Russia barely pretends to even participate.
