I tried watching the first one or two episodes of S1. And now watching S2 E1. I am watching Golden Girls instead. This sucks. And I loved SATC.

I don’t like it but I’m watching. I miss Samantha’s banter even more this season .She would have told Carrie to be proud of her vag.

She def would have. Maybe that's the problem - maybe it feels like they aren't the kinds of friends who would say that sort of thing anymore.

But just to the point of SJP regretting making this - people are watching. People are engaging with the characters. It's a huge hit for HBO. No one's regretting making it, I don't think.

Everything feels so stiff and stilted with this reboot. Nothing feels remotely natural or organic.

This is unwatchable. I tried. I tried the first few episodes of season 1 and just couldn't get into it and decided to give Season 2 a chance expecting maybe they made some changes to spice it up a little. No. So boring and choppy. Nothing flows. The characters are wooden and weird, especially Charlotte. She was great in SATC--not sure what happened to her acting skills now. Just awful. I'll stick with nostalgic watching of the original, which is still near and dear to my heart and will catch up on what SJP had to say on Stern this AM.

Is the third ep out yet?

I LOVED the original series but oh-fa - this is a trainwreck. I watched a couple of episodes and I am so disappointed that SJP thinks this is worthy of the original vs just a lame money grab. I feel insulted!!

I watched marathons of 'Grace and Frankie' with my mom when she was in the hospital. I'd take that over this any day (I can't believe I just wrote that...)
