President Donald Trump is racist, American voters say 51 - 45 percent in a Quinnipiac University National Poll released today.

White voters are divided as 46 percent say he is racist and 50 percent say he is not, the independent Quinnipiac University National Poll finds. Trump is racist black voters say 80 - 11 percent and Hispanic voters say 55 - 44 percent. Men say 55 - 41 percent that Trump is not racist. Women say 59 - 36 percent he is racist.

I’m shocked more men think he’s racist than Hispanics.

wow!

How many of the registered Black voters turned out though?

92.1 percent. that's what that statistic is about.

PP that posted the tweet. I think it’s just the people that requested a ballot. Not overall black voter turnout. Still think black turnout is going to be huge!

I think this is interesting with respect to early voting data versus polls. Based on specific states (e.g. Florida) that report party affiliation, as well as reports on where turnout is occurring in states that don't report partisan affiliation, it looks like conservatives/registered Republicans are turning out for early voting in large numbers. Although registered Democrats are ahead of Republicans in Florida, it's pretty close. And with more Republicans than Democrats expected to vote on November 3, that's a little worrying. But, as Nate Silver points out, this is actually consistent with polls which don't indicate a more liberal leaning electorate but rather one where more independents and Republicans are voting Democrat. Speaks to the limitations of analyses of early vote numbers as well.

Actually, Washington Post polls shows a 7 point lead in Michigan this morning among likely voters.

I’m glad you came here to counteract Cap’n Gloom ‘n Doom.

I don’t pay for Cook Political Report (Wasserman has a paid podcast or something), but he said he touched on the district level polls and how they’re stable and strongly in favor of Biden.

Don’t shoot the messenger. I was just quoting WaPo’s own headline.

I feel like they said Biden's lead in Michigan is "narrow" because their Wisconsin poll found Biden up by 17 points which is well above the average for the state. So 7 points is "narrow" compared to 17.
