Yes!!!!

Duh, that's been the plan since June.

Yes, but he had to reiterate that because the question keeps coming up.

Because NO ONE believes him based on his track record.

I believe him. His track record has been fine. Excellent given this extreme emergency situation.

NP here. Last school year, the date for young kids to start hybrid went from Oct to Nov to Dec to Jan & finally happened in March. So, yes, it’s hard to believe what he says about school opening.

Do people even read this thread they are posting in or do they just let their shrillest emotion take over when they open up DCUM.

You’re not the one with the crazy…

I think the pandemic triggered mental health issues for some people.

I think the past year and a half as an APS parent has triggered mental anxiety over school issues...

DP. Not altogether irrationally, though. It’s been tough to watch the decline.

I think the parents suffered a damn decline. APS did fine with the hand they were dealt.

Exactly.

Hopefully APS/SB can just ignore the insane parents this year and focus on the kids.

They pretty much folded. So if you're a fan of sitting out hands, I guess they did fine.

Except they didn’t. I just think there are a lot of obnoxious miserable know-it-all parents on here that need to chill.

Duran and the SB absolutely folded. They threw their hands in the air and gave up without even trying to get kids in school more than 2 days. No instruction March-June 2020 etc etc.. pathetic leadership that pats themselves on the back..

Duran didn’t make the spring decisions as he was not superintendent until June. Can you imagine having this sh1tshow dropped on your lap?

True - but he will forever be remembered as the superintendent who cited "monumental logistical challenges" for getting kids in school more than 2 days/week. When nearly every single district surrounding us was able to figure it out.. he gave up.. at our kids expense.

Stop lying.

FCPS was only able to open up more days at some schools.
