The fact that the arlington diocese schools successfully taught in person throughout the 2020-2021 school year seemed to have zero impact in encouraging public schools to follow suit so I can’t imagine their mask policy will be any different.

Told my kids to wear a mask if teacher wearing a mask. If teacher not wearing a mask, their choice.

I’m Catholic and a parent of Catholic school children…. I’m not following the rationale of the Archdiocese.

Is the Archdiocese’s stance that health decisions (in this case, masks) a matter of personal freedom?

It sounds like you/your daughter were out of step with the church well before this masking issue. I’m sure you can find any number of public and private schools that will promote the more liberal viewpoints you are seeking.

And I will add that teacher turnover has been a huge problem that is now going to be far worse. Great Job Arlington Diocese for showing my child why she should leave the Catholic Church.
