With this many new teams it is time to look at conference realignment. Delaware, Maryland, Virginia and North Carolina with one or two from Pennsylvania if it makes sense for travel.

If your DD truly is ECNL level, just join McLean or Arlington.

Yes DD can still try out. Figure out who the age-group coach is (look on ASA website) and contact them to see if DD can join a practice session. Also my guess is that there will be more ID sessions even if Arlington sticks with GA instead of ECNL. If Arlington gets ECNL there will definitely be more ID sessions.
What age group is your DD?

They've already had one ID session and called back a few girls to join a practice. 2005 has a small roster (14 + 2 goalies), so you should definitely reach out.
Can you give a guess as to what the difference is between travel for ECNL/GA? We're not opposed to far travel just trying to get an understanding.
Travel for ecnl VA, NC and SCe
Travel for GA VA, MD, PA, NJ
This is for 2020-2021 obviously will change next season
Can you imagine how FCV parents are freaking out now. Probably making calls to their closest ecnl team.
