+1. I’m actually an above poster who said I get more attention at a bit of a higher weight (BMI of 22 vs my typical BMI of 20) but how we look at different weights is so dependent on body type, height, proportions etc. Many gorgeous skinny women look best very thin and it sounds like you are a stunner at your weight. Each woman is going to have a unique experience depending on her own features and assets.

+1 and I think confidence in ones own body goes a long way in making that body attractive. You could be in a healthy range and look unattractive if you don’t carry yourself with poise and grace. You can be at the heavier or lighter end of normal and be incredibly sexy if you carry yourself that way. I find a lot of overweight or obese people, however, look unattractive inside and out because of low self-esteem. They dress in tent-like clothing and have given up.
But OP said her boyfriend preferred her at a higher weight, despite her feeling LESS comfortable at that size than being thin, which would suggests she's more confident when she's thinner. And yet her boyfriend likes her at a higher weight regardless. To me, that suggests it's not about confidence, but rather a defined physical preference.

There are exceptions to this but, in general, most red blooded men are noticing your bigger boobs/butt over anything else when you are a normal weight vs skinny.
Bingo. And a little belly fat that goes with that is OK as long as you still have a waist line that curves inward. Beyond that, you need to lose it.

Hahaha! You think people, random people, never walk up to heavier people and tell them to exercise, lose weight etc??!! Wow!
