What is the ideal scenario, in the situation the USA and DC are in now? Really confused, since it’s been non stop complaining even during the HL. To reopen, you have to put in the hard yards first.
We want them to put up more.. wait for it ..TENTS and then make everyone especially those receiving salaries go in person .. pandemic schmandemic
So you're just arguing for constant and indefinite distance learning until next school year.
What I want is a school that demonstrates it is doing everything it can to enable our kids safely to attend school in person with their classmates and teachers. Just like schools throughout the northeast are doing. The school has the resources, expertise, and networks to make this happen if it wanted to. But they are not even showing that they are trying, and that a safe return is their driving motivation.
That’s just not true. But I’m willing to listen? If you think they are not even trying, why would that be? What rational explanation is there? Previously, it was all name calling: lazy, lefty... I’m really willing to not only hear but adjust of what I hear makes sense

I’m sure now there are many additional reasons such as the sustained community spread at record levels. The one constant is that time and time again the schools that reopened found that parents were dishonest and household behaviors a massive weak link in their safe campus policies. You know that.
Look at the dashboard. One fact that is readily apparent is that there has been no spread within the school. You know that.
Because of the DL! Had we been in school in March or December you’d see it be very different.

Sadly, this is not true.
