I have spoken with several team managers and only one was able to say every practice and game has had 100% completed health screenings (by players and coaches). Fairfax County has had 2,671 cases of COVID-19 just these past two weeks. There was a REMINDER email from the club in October that said "Ensure the Daily Health Screening is completed before every practice and game. We need to get better and this from both the player and coach perspective." This is NOT being done.
In that same email "Coaches cannot combine practices of multiple teams. If a coach has two teams at the same practice session, the coach must run two separate practice sessions and keep the players separate." This is NOT being done.
I expected to see a higher level of professionalism and care of our community from our coaches and I have been let down. But it is completely unacceptable to have seen directors not completing their daily health screening.
Pull your kid out then. Stop trying to impose your silly restrictions on everyone around you.
Not sure if you're aware, but the OP appears to have not only mentioned an email, but also quotes an email. I copy and pasted, and yes I also received the email. It's not the OP's restrictions, it's the club's requirements.

Excellent idea.
This reads like Abby responding to her own “Dear Abby” lol

Haven't heard that but I would be shocked if it was true. Although the top teams have been doing well across almost all ages I hear from other families that they are not happy with the style of play and some of the coaching (not all). Teams rely too much on college soccer style of play.
