Already answered, he donates his salary so no taxes are due on it.
To whom does he donate his salary? With very limited exceptions, charitable contributions are limited to 50% of your AGI.
I am not sure if it is one single entity, but department of health and human services is one I remember.
He gives back his government paychecks to government agencies. They’re not charities.
Sure ok. Kinda like he “donated” the collection from Trump charities. Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:After reading the story, I truly believe that he did NOT want to President. It was just a way to get his name out there. He was going broke and needed a boost.
The article also says that he is personally on the hook for about 500M in loans in 2022. He can't afford to lend his campaign money. He doesn't have any.
I think that’s right. He did it to boost his brand. But why run again then?!
He had to keep the con going.
And as a sitting president it would be hard to arrest him.
Don’t forget, he hasn’t finished helping Putin, and all the other strong men he is dying to suck up to. There is still more to do. He has to continue to degrade the US, so they will give his payout.

Anonymous wrote:Didn't we all already know he was a scam artist and not nearly as rich as he claimed? So really, this is the story of a rich guy dodging taxes while us saps in the middle class pay. What a shocker.Next you're going to tell me Bill Gates isn't a humanitarian, he's actually using his foundation and giving pledge "promise" to duck taxes and hoard over $100 billion dollars.

Thats not true. He would still have today taxes and fica on the salary. And the charity has to be itemized, so only 34% of it is deductible.

Yes he can. Sovereign foreign wealth, just like Kushner's randomly came up with $600 million from Qatar, was it?
