Can you give examples of what you mean by unsafe? All high schools have problems — what, specifically, troubled you about Einstein?

Anonymous wrote:My kid is in 8th in DCC and so we'll do the whole choice program. I've heard folks' impression of the other schools, but not much about Einstein. What do people like and not like about it?
Please only from parents who actually have experience or have friends with kids there. I see a lot of faulty assumptions about the down county schools in general, so I'd really like to hear what people who REALLY know it think.
Thanks.

I have the same impressions and since the community aspect of Einstein is missing this year the school seems worse
I don't think it seems worse. I think the community has been responding admirably during the pandemic, with the gift cards for groceries and now the food donation drive. The PTSA online meetings with administrators have been really helpful and well-attended (compared to in-person anyway).
I agree with this but I meant for a 9th grader new to the school, not the parent community. They are online so they don’t see the positives of the school, only that she has several terrible teachers and that the school is poorly run.
This is at every school.

It's not a failing school. Why are you so mean?
Sometimes the truth hurts.
