Why did the gop try so hard to keep this date and not allow any extensions? Given the result, would it have been worse to push the election to June?

This. Either way, votes were suppressed. The GOP had its leader come out in full medical protective equipment (the kind that most doctors are having a hard time getting these days) to tell people everything was perfectly “safe.”

I have had such a miserable day, and then saw the Wisconsin supreme court vote and felt like I might cry tears of joy. I don’t even live in Wisconsin. I’ve never been to Wisconsin. But my gosh, I just want to hug every reasonable Wisconsin voter…virtually, of course

All you Wisconsin voters who turned up in the middle of a hail storm, in the middle of a pandemic, I wish I could buy you a drink.You are some amazing people.

Watch out, GOP. November is going to be a bloodbath for you.
