Exactly. Call him up, send a couple of guys over (according to Comey), don't tell him what they wanted to talk to him about (according to Comey), tell him he doesn't need counsel, then grill him on details of phone calls/meetings and try to trip him up.

If nothing else, it illustrates that his son was liable for crimes against the United States of America. Maybe he will be charged by an actual DOJ that believes in the rule of law.

Those that are very closely placed to a potentially-but-thankfully-not-actually compromised president. For starters.

p.s. I'd love to know where PP gets his information. We all know that Mueller group would have charged him with the highest crime possible. Lying was the best they could do, and they even messed that up with not disclosing the deal in the plea.
