Two associates of President Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani had lunch with Giuliani at the Trump International Hotel in Washington, D.C., hours before they were arrested, The Wall Street Journal reported, citing a source who saw the group together.

The two Soviet-born businessmen, Led Parnas and Igor Fruman, were arrested Wednesday night at Washington Dulles International Airport on campaign finance violation charges. Federal authorities allege they violated the law to funnel money to numerous Republican committees, including a $325,000 contribution in May 2018 to a pro-Trump super PAC called America First Action.

Prosecutors say the two were attempting to leave the country with one-way international tickets when they were arrested.

The case is being handled by SDNY Public Corruption Unit, which is supposed to be sealed off from the rest of DOJ.

I remember Rudy bragging on TV that he had informants in the NYC FBI office and wondered how this was okay.

I'm so glad America's Mayor is going to jail. He caused a lot of unnecessary death on 9-11 due to his budget cuts. You'd think he would retire to anonymity.

Because she wouldn't facilitate Rudy's "work" when he would come to the Ukraine to dig up dirt on the Bidens. She wasn't playing ball.


OK. I'm just surprised they would go to those lengths just for leverage on a political rival. Is there something else Trump/Rudy are hiding? Profiteering/money laundering or something?

I am confused, Lev Parnas had or has a company called FraudGuarantee claiming a $600M cap selling fraud insurance, but dodging creditors and trying to get into the retail pot business?
