But McLean 05 is clearly stronger. Go figure

Have they played? Forgetting they both play in separate leagues of course. The closest thing to a comparison is playing the same team/s. Which I believe they have in VDA. Spirit 05 won, McLean has not against VDA. Now I am NOT starting a discussion on what league is better. Just that its tough to compare teams that have not played. If records is all that matters then fine, go with that. Personally Id wonder how Spirit won. And don't go down the road of a preseason showcase. These kids know when theyre in a DA vs ECNL situation and the coaches all want to win.

I was there and all the VDA teams that played definitely played to win. Some did and some did not, but it wasn't due to lack of trying.

This again? Move on.

Remember the same guy (s) who told you that Spirit is out and the club was being handed over. Remember? That same guy (s) also stated that it was going to be dead a year after being handed over. Is this Larry's way of saving face? Is this DAs way of saving face?

Non-Spirit parents, call it a day. Find another club to disparage. We are happy with the new direction our club is going in.

It can only go up from here!

It will never happen but I'd love to see a DMV league created between ECNL and DA teams for the regular season. Save all of the far distance travel for showcases 2-3 x a year. Would be more affordable and create meaningful competition for all involved. As I said, a pipe dream...

I think the 04 Spirit team was the only one that lost.

If they retain their best current 05 players, 05 MU(xWS) will probably continue to be their strongest age group.

I disagree. I think any player at any age who isn't finding what they are looking for where they are at will move.
