That's fine. All I'm saying is we should stop making a big deal about our coaching, youth soccer systems and all that jazz and accept that we don't belong with the big dogs in soccer.

And if you refute this, there is just one word to say: “scoreboard”. Sorry, just couldn’t resist needling the FCV 06 DA parents whose kids were losing quite a few lately, but got back on track by beating up a weak WSVA team. Should be noted that 7 of the 12 goals scored were by two girls recruited from ODFC 05 state champ team last spring. Neither girl’s parents are very loyal, so once someone picks them off with a better offer ... well, I’m just sayin’.
What exactly are you sayin’? Other than showing your complete ignorance of the sport by boasting about RESULTS at U13, what do you offer in terms of valuable knowledge we can pull from your mind-numbing and never ending posts? You’re a joke.
I think what he is saying here King Kong is that you might want to stop beating your chest. Everyone, including Spirit parents know that they are a weak team. Your bragging about it is punching down especially when your world beater team dropped 3 straight games.
Spirit 06 losing a game big isn’t news but FCV 06 beating a actual winning team would be. Please report back win you win a game against a quality opponent.
Reading comprehension much? RESULTS are meaningless at those ages. And that isn’t a knock on any particular club or team, it’s a knock on the mentality of the entire youth soccer community in this country. The coaches have bought in and have sold it to the parents who couldn’t be happier paying a ton of money to cheer their kids playing some of the worst soccer on the planet.
Put your U13 results on your resume and see how far they get you in the sport or in life. Brag on a message board about how your child’s team with bigger faster kids kids that don’t know how to play this game won a championship at 11 years old. Or you could Go online, listen to, read and educate yourself from the true masters in the sport, not some “highly-licensed” arrogant know it all coach at your local club that don’t know how to teach anything about this sport.
Yes , coaches I am talking to you. Get over yourselves. Parents, educate yourselves and demand more.

Coaches boast about players at young ages. If US soccer didn’t care about the younger ages they would do away with YTC and focus on the HS years.
Isn't the latest rumor that U13 DA will be done over the next few years? Just sayin
Who the hell would know that rumor other than a coach or a scout?
The DA will be done at every age very soon.
