Could it just be that he got a better offer? Maybe Gonzaga is closer to home? Some people don’t want to stay in the same job forever especially if the community is not very uplifting.

And that's why he left? Makes no sense. The demanding-parents-wore-him-down makes more sense.

No wonder the counselors got worn down.

Combine the student population of all the seniors at all the DMV private AND public schools and that's the number who are competing for the small # of slots that a college/university will allocate to the DMV area.

umm, i'd be pissed if my private school kid ended up at Elon.

And would you be just as upset if they end up at a major state school (Alabama, Florida, South Carolina, etc.)?

Umm, you missed University of Deep South......or Deep South State....all major schools to end up at after spending 40k plus year, good decision!

Although I'm guessing that even graduates of these universities know how trite and sophomoric one's writing appears when one chooses to start sentences with the "word" Umm....

weak!

Wait, the "moderator" once more deleted the post showing how much teachers make in public schools???

I guess it is tough to accept those crazy salaries and at the same time complain about private schools....

is Elon really that bad? I mean, was the child prepared for college and life? Did they end of successful, motivated people? The answers to those questions are more important to me. And we are a Sidwell family that has been at the school since PK.
