His is a toss-up and could go either way absent the effect of impeachment.
If the impeachment goes to trial and Jones votes to convict, he is history ....... and if he votes to acquit he will likely be defeated as well. In either case, you will have a sizable number of voters who will be mightily pissed off by this vote.
I think you underestimate the erosion of the Trump Base. It is already down from 94% to 84% and the drip drip drip won't help. People don't like traitors.
With respect, you are clueless about Alabama and what voters there feel about the whole impeachment drive. Jones only hope must be that this will never get to trial.
With respect, the people of Alabama aren't fools.

Yes that's why it was so unlikely Doug Jones won at all and why it's so unlikely he'll win again. It's really the Republicans' seat to lose if they aren't too stupid - but
I agree and the only reason Jones won was because Roy Moore was the candidate for the Republicans. But if Jones votes to remove Trump I think even Moore as an opponent will not save Jones.
Jones best bet is to acquit unless there is a realistic possibility for 67 votes to remove Trump. His vote against Kavanaugh's confirmation is already an issue for him.
I would argue Jones's best bet is to do whatever he thinks is right - or what will get him a good job with the next administration - since he's so unlikely to win again anyway.

We are in the bad place, so it fits.
Those are some nice poll numbers but I’d like to see the Democrats far out ahead.
Getting rid of Moscow Mitch would be a huge win for the country.
