BPD is a complicated disorder that could never be diagnosed through a blog or an instagram page. Maybe she does, but you can not tell through self-selected anecdotes about her life.

Just because someone attends a pride parade with their family does not make them bisexual. A lot of people attend those parades to support their LGBT friends and family. It doesn't make you LGBT yourself. Some of you are too dim to be reading blogs. Really dim.

Definitely borderline. I feel badly for her kids. She seems desperately attention seeking in a way someone truly depressed would have neither the energy nor the desire or ability to seek.

Obviously she is extremely mentally ill. She has absolutely no regard for how others may treat her family after seeing all of this. Her husband may want an escape from all of this and cannot find that anywhere now that she has put all of this out there. No children do not read mommy blogs but Mother’s do. Do you want to send your child to that house for a play date knowing all of this? Do you really want your young child possibly being told about suicide from her children. I am not trying to be heartless but she does not seem to grasp the exposure to her family. If writing is a therapy for her then she should be encouraged to find a better suited audience than the entire internet. It makes me think she is in no type of therapy at all.

Does she already experiment and wanted it out in the open. If she were homosexual and married I'd think yeah OK that would contribute to the depression and maybe she is getting ready to break up, but bisexual? I saw the instagram. I'm not getting that "I'm bisexual" vibe some of you are getting. i do think she's an issue with alcohol, but that's just my judgey 2 cents.

I continue to be horrified by the amount of detail and photos she is putting on the internet. I hope she is getting help for the sake of her family.

I almost worry she may be unstable enough the suicides in the news sparked this together with the alcohol and depression and then...suddenly her name is coming up with Glennon and she checks out that blog and thinks....hmmm now might be a good time to let the world know about my bisexuality?!

Even her utterly inappropriate securing of her kids’ “permission” to post in such excruciating detail about their lives reeks of a BPD’s manipulativeness and inability to parent in an age-appropriate way. I don’t feel sympathy for this woman as much as I feel revulsion. My heart goes out to her children.

Agree. Her poor children.

She posted a pic from Pride in Baltimore. She is wearing 2 buttons- I love pro-choice girls and I love pro-choice boys. It is captioned something like "since we are being honest".

Personally, I say she reeks of BPD because I've worked with many people who have BPD (inpatient and outpatient psychiatry) and she seems like a textbook case. This infographic is helpful to summarize why I think she is borderline. Intense emotions, self-harming, impulsive and risky behaviours, destructive behaviours, manipulative, attention-seeking, suicide attempt, drug abuse, long list of anxiety and depression diagnoses. Obviously I can't diagnose her but, like I said, this reeks of borderline.

No, but I can think of a lot of kids who would overhear their own moms or dads talking about it, or maybe a teacher, and then take the story -- or perhaps some misunderstood half-truth version of it -- back to the schoolyard to weaponize into an instrument of bullying.
