I may have been able to be “the light” on a 2 hour flight to Orlando that’s chock full of families heading to Disney. But this is beyond bad behavior or normal kid stuff. It’s also not an “error” — this woman knew what she was setting everyone up for. So here, she deserves every single negative reaction that she gets.

This video bears the image of a child and his name. It should not have been posted to YouTube. It should not have been run by news outlets. It is not "news". The mom made a grave error in flying unprepared. Maybe you would have done better, but try kindness and compassion. Even when someone screws up. Try to be the light, not the darkness.

Which she knew was a lie. If that was the first time this happened she would have been mortified and apologizing profusely. Her inaction demonstrates that she's used to this and can tune it out....while everyone else suffers. Ugh - she gets worse and worse.

Believe me the only thing worse that listening to a child scream in public is watching a parent beat their screaming child in public.
Oh, it would have happened in the bathroom. And you would have been none the wiser....

Sometimes benadryl has the OPPOSITE effect. And can cause over hype. Maybe she gave him Benadryl and THIS was the effect!!!
