My son tested under the new pilot program for Drew ES, his national percentile ranking is 99, highest MAP-M and R at his ES but he was not accepted or wait listed for Drew. Now what????

My kid got in to Barnsley; score was 136.
I know of 6 other kids in addition to mine from our home school who have gotten in and 2 who are waitlisted although neither number is likely the complete tally.
One of the other 6 accepted is in my kid's class, and told my kid that she's not going to go....I'm really not sure why families bother to apply if they know in advance they won't go if accepted.
6 accepted and 2 waitlisted from the same home school?! Just wondering what home school is that?

I have received both letters. I find it interesting that some are reporting percentages. On my child's score sheet, there was no percentage just the median score of those tested and his score. Are there different score sheets being sent home? We are cold spring.
Yes, I'm curious if the people reporting percentages are in the pilot programs (Drew, Fox Chapel, Stonegate, Matsunaga, and maybe Piney Branch) vs. the scores being reported at the traditional programs (like Cold Spring). My kid is in Drew but we haven't got the score letter yet.
