No. It was not nonsense. Tonight's episode was phenomenal.

Nope - it was nonsense. Worst season yet. A real yawn-er. As Maggie spoke at the end, I realized I wasn't even paying attention to what she was saying. Blah be-di blah blah blah.

I may not watch in the Fall.

What Maggie was saying was at odds with the history of the show. When Sasha first showed up, Rick turned her away, rather violently. Then Maggie spews all this crap about how she was family and they always stood by her? Wha??

How about Carl, any use for him anymore?

Abby? Who is Abby?

Did you miss the part when Carl took advantage of the tiger attacking and shot first? Let me remind you, because it was badass:

I'm sorry, Tara is her name. Couldn't muster the name. Blah.

Loved the finale. Rick never backed down.

I wish they would have spent as much time dealing with Terminus as they've given over to the Neagan story line.

We watched the season finale last night because we were so disinterested that we decided to go to bed early instead of watching on Sunday night. I was glad we watched it on the DVR so we could skip over all the Sash and Abraham drama; they are just 2 characters I really don't care about. Also skipped over some of Negan's speeches like when he had Rick and Carl; his whole persona is just getting old.

With the exception of that, I thought it was an OK episode. I liked how everyone came together to fight, even if it was a bit unrealistic that none of the "good" guys got killed or even really injured. There were a lot of bullets flying around for things to clean up so nicely.

I do wonder how long they will drag out Negan next season. Negan really does hove the number and power to take everyone out pretty quickly and easily if he wanted and Alexandria is too big to protect, look how easily the kingdom and hilltop folks got in there during the fight.
