I truly can't believe the bashing of human beings, all of which I am sure LOVE the game of soccer and want our kids to thrive. THE BOD are volunteers as well as VP, Prez, AGC's - for gods sake, show some respect. Or try to get on the board to change things without coming across as a spoiled brat. I can't believe some of these statements. Wow.
I have a U10B and U11G - there have been some bumps, there has been some lack of communication, there have been some great games/great coaches, some not so great. At the end of the day - the kids usually learn from the parents and even form their opinions from their parents. Start being a better example. This is just embarrassing. Let your kid play and enjoy themselves... none of them are going to the world cup. Accept that. Don't be delusional, and please stop being so mean to fellow parents in our wonderful community and the coaches that allow them to play the game they love.
+1 Also this new group of coaches is still pretty new. They need more encouragement to continue to make things better.
They certainly do need encouragement - I wouldn't come near this club if I were a soccer coach and saw all these crazy comments. People seem to forget it is about the kids not their own egos and bs.
The people that need to remember it is about the kids are 90% of awful youth soccer coaches (from F to A licenses) that are in it for THEIR egos and to fill their pockets with money. Youth soccer is a huge money-sucking scam with very few coaches that are worth a damn and that covers every club large and small. Yes, there are crazy parents but, by far, the largest problem are the clubs, their executives and the coaches.

... we would not be in such bad shape now. My kid will miss Robson!

Well if you concider buying Spirit tickets at a discounted price an awesome deal for the partnership... well, just for the drive to the stadium you spend on gas the amount that you supposedly saved! Please do not mention Super Y as a great and special thing. Every club has it now. It is a money making ploy for clubs and coaches. Plus with the girls acadamies in 2017, Spirit will not look at us, especially when people are leaving the club in such numbers. Sad but true! Good try VYS.
Anonymous wrote:I thought the renewed partnership with the Spirit had already been announced, but the Spirit announced it today, in any case:

So that relationship survives even though Mark Parsons is gone. He knew Rich from overseas, though I believe the BOD made the partnership happen.

The coach is excellent, team spirit great, ok maybe they didn't win every game but the boys have a great time together and have really developed well under their coach. I am from Europe and have seen many styles/levels. I am not sure what most of the people here are complaining about. My kid and all the kids I have seen in years of playing here and at home aren't going to be making the premier league but they are fit and happy and being well coached. Have we just had an exceptional experience?! I don't care how the organisation is run or whatever so long as my kid is happy and developing his skills and abilities and also teamwork!! I don't feel that the changes have had any effect on all that.
well then sir, maybe you should play the lottery!
