Thank you! I'd say about half of the women I work with have implants - and I think it's good for business! I'm natural, myself. But I do find myself wondering about getting them done. Another reason I'm glad this job (for me) has a shelf life!

We did. I job hunted for nearly a year months - and landed a few promising interviews - before I came to the sad realization that I just wasn't going to find a job that was both flexible and paid enough to be worth it (to cover the cost of childcare). Stripping was something I'd always been curious about, and I asked my husband if he'd be okay with my going to an amateur night (many clubs have these as a means to recruit new dancers) - he was.
I felt ambivalent and nervous as hell at first, but I walked away from that experience the first night feeling empowered and alive in a new way. Maybe it was the addict in me responding to something, but it was a really, really good feeling. My husband and I talked about it at length, really explored the implications and various possibilities that come along with doing this job, and I decided to try it - knowing, of course, that I could quit at anytime.
The first few weeks (months, really) presented a huge learning curve. It's easy to dismiss stripping and strippers as your "last resort" type of work (like waitressing) but there really is a lot to learn. About self-presentation (and self-preservation - it's easy to get f*cked in the head doing this job), sales (all the job really is), and ultimately about human nature. It has a very dark side, undeniably so. But I value these experiences.
I am curious to know if stripping has changed your sex-life at home? Are you more open, daring, kinky? Or are you more reserved with DH, because you do not want him to think that your moves are something you are absorbing from your work life?
If your DH and you are cool with it, more power to you! I think we may have become as a society less liable to become shocked with nudity, thanks to celebrities like the Kardashians, Miley Cyrus, and the nude photo hacking of hollywood A listers like JLaw.
My sex life hasn't really changed as a result of my job. I'm tired, which gets in the way, but I think this is common for many mothers of small children!

So, by your logic, either there is no difference between being naked in front of members of the opposite or if a woman shows her naked body to a man then she's pretty much obligated to have sex with him. On the latter, is that a sliding scale where burqa means no sex at all, normal western clothing means some light touching, a one-piece swim suit means the guy gets to cop a feel, a bikini means he gets a BJ and full nude means he gets sex?
