This was years ago, and I'm not joking: Rodney Dangerfield ... much better looking in person. Not short, either!

Kevin Bacon - looks horrid in real life. Crazy hair and very short.

Robert DiNero - looks same as in movies, but quite short.

I wouldn't kick him out of bed for eating crackers.

Michael Jordan, very tall and very nice/polite.

Catherine Zeta Jones, pretty but looked older in person.

Sarah Jessica Parker in NYC, looks better on TV. Leave it at that.

Oh my gosh, if I was standing behind John Cusack at Starbucks, I'd have to suppress the urge to yell, "Two dollars!"

People around here can't excuse other "civilians" to have a bad day.

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck look gorgeous IRL, but JG is painfully thin (to me). Adorable though.

Pamela Anderson looks like she's lived a rough life and had some ill-planned tattoos.

Lauren Conrad looks just like she does on tv and mags. Young, stylish, cute.

Oh, and my man, Rob Lowe. Looks older IRL, but, well, handsome and super friendly. Crush continues.

Been to the White House Correspondents dinner. Tons of celebs there and it was so much fun to see them.

I beg to differ. Katie Couric and I both got off a plane at BWI around midnight, after a cross-country flight, and she looked just like she does on TV. Prettier, actually. I ended up standing next to her in baggage claim. She had two young women with her (assistants, I think). An older couple came up and was going on about how they used to watch her every morning on the Today show. She could not have been more gracious. Very nice.

Why can't we allow for the possibilty that celebrities, like others, have their good and bad days?

Larry Mullen Jr. Much better looking in person.

Adam Levine. Ahhhhhh

I saw Henry Rollins recently - he was filming something in front of the White House. He's all gray now and very distinguished looking. Thinner than I expected.

Henry Rollins ? He's not a celebrity ... Lol . He's Henry Garfield and about as famous as the wjla weather man.

Really?! The former lead singer of Black Flag and Rollins Band? He is a celebrity in my book (also a hot guy, IMHO!).

PP prolly said that b/c he's local. Grew up across the street from me in NW. I consider him famous tho.

Hold up! This is DCUM. We may be crass, rude and snarky. However we do NOT use "prolly" here. Either go away or use "probably."

Yeah, that's why kids today are still wearing Black Flag t-shirts.

Henry sure looked different when he was younger

You're confusing fame with notoriety. I know who he is, but Black Flag and the Rollins Band had, at best, a miniscule following and were ensconced in the counter culture. He did host some stuff for MTV though.

Harrison Ford - very handsome in real life and looks the same as he does on the screen.

Lauren Graham - also very attractive in real life and what you see on screen is very close to real life.
