Trayvon Martin was walking through thw neighborhood when he was followed and then approached by a man with a gun. You know what he did? He stood his ground. That's what freaked out Zimmerman and mad him shoot. The situation sucks, but what really sucks is the NRA going around the country pushing stand-your-ground and concealed weapons laws. The NRA is to blame for the whole mess.
WRONG. Zimmerman alone is to blame. The NRA doesn't promote the shooting of unarmed, unprovoking teenagers.
WRONG yourself. The NRA is promoting laws that encourage people to carry guns and shoot whenever they "feel" threatened. It doesn't matter if the victim is a teen, unarmed or was not actually provoking.
The law says otherwise.

If zimmerman didn't attack then its not standing your ground. If zimmerman was the person being over powered by an attacker stand your ground can be used against the attacker

Not really going to trust NBC as a source of news on this subject anymore.

Great dodge. The Orlando Sentinel was the paper who contacted the two sources, and here is what they reported: http://articles.orlandosentinel.com/2012-03-31/news/os-trayvon-martin-george-zimmerman-911-20120331_1_voice-identification-expert-reasonable-scientific-certainty
Now what is your issue?
