TV? I have no idea. As long as their grades are good and their chores get completed, I don't care. I do monitor what my youngest watches. But I have no idea what my teenagers watch.
Oldest is on a full ROTC scholarship in college.
I have a senior graduating this year. 3.7 GPA. He is going to college on a scholorship as well.
My daughter is a junior. She easily qualifies as a National Merit Scholar and scored the second highest in her school on the PSAT.
The jury is still out on the younger two. But so far, so good.
Not bragging. Just simply showing that you don't have to be an uptight parent to raise healthy, happy, smart kids.

Eh, maybe some of the SAHM. My mom stayed home with me and while I remember watching a few shows (Mister Rogers, Pinwheel) the tv also went "off" at certain times. I had no trouble reading, making up games, or playing independently.
The question people aren't asking is, do you always cook healthy, low-fat food at home. Just b/c someone cooks all the meals, that doesn't mean it is always healthier than options at a fast food place.

Are you even 30 years old???
I'm a guy, what do you expect? and yes, over 30. now I am picturing some foxy and limber tiger mom .... oh well.
I'm a MILF, baby. I'd rather have sex 7 nights a week than watch TV. Seriously.
