Well that’s a low bar. We just elected a fraudulent game show host as president. Twice. Our Secretary of Defense is a washed out national guardsmen and weekend morning tv show host. Our director of the FBI is a drunk podcaster. Our secretary of education comes from the world of wrestling. And on and on.

We don’t care about no fancy experience here in America. In this country, Stephen A Jackson, an ESPN host, is seriously talked about as a plausible Democratic nominee. How one does on the TV is something every Democrat needs to consider when thinking of who has a shot at the White House.

Not familiar enough with Beshear to say one way or another. But he’s a likable, competent Democratic governor of an extremely red state. That should get him consideration since he clearly knows how to run in battleground states. Every election comes down to about 6 states. Who wins those wins everything.
