For people entirely disenchanted with performative politics while masses are distracted from real problems it has been a sh*t show regardless who is a power for a long while now. Trump = cartoon villain is certainly the dominating topic here and a stupid debate.

Objectively, there are many people in this area meaningfully less happy because of losing their Fed jobs, or fearing being deported, which makes sense. These two categories have absolutely valid reasons to be a lot less happy than others. For everyone else chugging along, what other categories of people would have legitimate hardships under this administration they didn't have already during Covid disaster and Biden's runaway train?

I have one friend with a totally traumatized 4 year old because ICE came into her daycare and aggressively arrested her teacher on school property. I have a non-binary child and I'm afraid for their safety as more people feel emboldened to say or do unkind or unsafe things towards them. I'm a teacher and at my school, we now have to do extra morning and after school duty to keep an eye out for ICE and try to keep them away from the car line. I feel incredibly unsafe doing this, but I'll do it to protect the most vulnerable. My family has pretty much given up eating out and ordering coffee because prices are so crazy. We always shop at Aldi first and then hit a traditional grocery store for the rest. My refugee friends have lost their SNAP benefits and are now only eating 2x a day instead of 3. Even the kids. (Yes, my family helps as we are able) I keep waiting for the entire market to collapse and lose much of my retirement. And just having to read or hear the insane things trump and his trumpettes say leaves me and everyone I know feeling gross. I could go on.

The parents need to skip one meal between them per day and give it to the children. And surely you are able enough to buy them some bags of beans and rice? These are your friends?!? Have you never struggled?

Dems: American children are starving thanks to Trump
GOP: American parents need to starve instead so their children can eat

Great electoral strategy. Historically when people go hungry, tone deaf leaders lose their heads. Let’s just hope in this case it’s figurative heads instead of actual ones.

I just saw the Deportation Express video put out by the White House. How can anyone support this kind of malicious cruelty, laughing at refugees, thinking it’s funny? Seriously, what is wrong with people?

You must love this 1930s German state much better. ICE waiting outside of naturalization hearings, people ripped from their beds being sent to third world prisons, overhauling a century of judicial precedent…

It shouldn't be an either/or. We wouldn't be here today if Democrats hadn't completely lost the plot on so many issues - from illegal migration to race-based hiring to refusing to put violent men in prison to prioritizing trans people over women to completely ignoring the effects of inflation on the middle class to chaotic public schools and on and on.

Right now, we are ping-ponging from one extreme to another. If Democrats could get it together and be the party of the middle class, they'd win forever.

You’d think, but where we’ve failed repeatedly in recent years is underestimating just how many people actually LIKE Trump’s inhumanity.

No, you refuse to tone down social issues (which include immigration) and crank up focus on income inequality / the economy. You can’t have everything all at once!

Focusing on immigration is actually serving Dems quite well right now. It turns out people don’t like hearing about people being detained on the way to their citizenship hearings, or to see their favorite small business owner deported to a third world prison in a country they have no connection to. The government isn’t “playing by the rules” and it’s undermining their credibility.

The fact that affordability has hit the crapper at the same time is just a bonus. We’re hurting all these innocent people and there are no more American jobs, no more factories. Just pain.

Other than in your mind, how has Trump affected you? Honestly.

I hate trump, but he has no tangible impact on my life.

This is part of the reason why we are where we are as a nation and as a society. Unless it affects people directly, people just don’t care. We’ve lost our empathy. Our humanity. Our collective responsibility to help be the voice of the voiceless.

It’s disgusting and very, very sad.

No, you've overdosed on empathy and collectivism. That's what's disgusting.

Suicidal empathy (I used to suffer from it, too. Women are particularly susceptible.)

Yeah, I don’t know that it’s a flex to brag that you’re a sociopath.

I go to work, go home, and make meals and that's it. Not buying hardly anything and don't feel like going out spending money or traveling. Just hunkered down at home.

The Heritage Foundation are terrorists. Whoever promises to give every single donor, employee, or sympathizer the full Al Qaida treatment gets my vote.

Agree. I feel like people are finally beginning to come out of the ridiculous state of constant outrage they were in during the last administration. We now see a lot of appropriate push back and rolling of eyes regarding the things you list. Glad common sense has begun seeping in again.

All because we have a “common sense” president 😂. You are blind if you can’t see that this guy is a nut and leading us down a very dangerous path. He doesn’t care about this country, he doesn’t care about you, me, or anybody else.

I'll bet you obsess over Trump 24x7.

My message to you: it's always darkest before it goes black.

Chief Bone Spurs, denigrated Senator McCain for his service, calls military members “losers,” grabs women by the pu$$y, but conservatives couldn’t stomach Bill Clinton. Party of hypocrisy!

Debunked. Comment on losers was a lie. BTW, did Biden serve? No. He received five draft deferments. Did Obama serve? Nope.

Bonus: after being obama's VP for eight years, Obama endorsed Hillary instead of Biden.

Solid gold!

The “losers” comment was not debunked.

But never verified

It was verified by multiple people. The fact you refuse to believe them because what they have to say is upsetting to you is your problem.

Hmm. Were you attacked by drag queens and pronouns? Didn’t think so. How does it feel to be in this mess because you just couldn’t handle someone who didn’t look like you finding happiness?

Either you don't understand English or you don't know how to express your thoughts. PP was merely asking rhetorically why the teacher person isn't helping their friends out more. The teacher clearly was saying that they did so maybe there was something lost in the sauce there.

However, you don't have close buds, friends, or associates who call out your BS when they need to? This isn't a covid thing. Maybe it's exclusively a black or immigrant community thing (actually it's not) but people have been talking like this to each other for years, and from personal experience, it's not out of hate. It's just no nonsense straight talk.

Trump was right

Howard Lutnick was right

America finally has leadership that knows how to win on trade instead of surrendering like the globalist crowd wanted

The superficiality would be hilarious if it weren't so sad.

The trade deficit did not drop because we are selling more overseas. That would be a good thing.

We are selling less. And importing less. Just look at the 12 billion dollar farm bail out for an example of our selling less abroad. And people dialing back on Christmas because we are importing less.

Now, combine this with China hitting a 1 trillion dollar trade surplus last week and it is pretty evident that Trump Tariffs as a cudgel haven't worked well. Or even at all.

This. Also, Barron isn't an expert on his dad. He's just another sycophant. In his case, trying to edge out his half-sister.

Barron Trump is also an enormous fan of Andrew Tate and his brother. And his support has helped them deal with all the rape and sex trafficking charges they are facing in Romania.

Little Barron isn't so little anymore. He is a 6'9 adult making bank off of crypto and in deep in that Tate universe.
