If they condemned it, why did they turn on Cheney and Kitzinger for their participation in the committee? Why, during the impeachment trial, did they not just vote to condemn the action even if they didn't want to find Trump guilty? Why have they not objected strenuously (even though Trump has the privilege) to the pardons?
4. The Minnesota guy did not "work for" Walz. He applied and was accepted to an advisory council of some 46 members of the public to look at workforce development. Such councils are sprinkled throughout state governments. Participants have no power to decide or execute policy. They listen to reports and presentations at quarterly meetings. You do not get asked your political affiliation on these; I was nominated by a republican governor to such a council in the early 2000s and I have never voted Republican in my life.

It sounds like on some level you do want to believe the republican party is populated by decent, responsible people. Obviously you wouldn't post comments like the one about Paul Pelosi I just mentioned. But it's been overrun by the worst kind of people.
