What are you talking about? Most people look at both schools. Very common to look at Elon, W&M, Richmond, Furman, Sewanee. That a very similar set of schools. Many many parents who take their kids to Richmond also are visiting Elon. Stop with the conspiracy theories. You are the one who sounds like the admission rep!
This is kinda my point. Can’t have a cross admit battle unless the applicant is accepted at both schools. I personally have no interest in any of the schools you listed, save maybe W&M. Just seems like UR is getting classic DCUM heel treatment with Elon being the face and being put over, perhaps a little bit before it’s time.
