lots of Glazing BP there. That bring a friend to sit on the bench to get you locked in is diabolical. As far as the JV vibes……oooof. That’s equally wild. CW is doing something right w the older teams.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Interesting that he is coming back and they decided to leave. Going to be a fun year
VDA been straight cooking FVU, no cap. Grass not just greener — it’s freakin’ neon over there. DB/CW? Bro, JV vibes fr. BP’s built different — man’s got that D1 salesman game. I seen it with my older DDs, dude be like “you'll starting all season,” “YNT Pool guarantee,” and then offers to bring your friends in a package deal like it’s Amazon Prime. 💀🔥

Maybe 2013 but not 2010. Arguably the best 2010 this year, but they’ll have a new coach that will try to change the style of play and they were unable to add any difference makers. If they take another double digit loss in SD, players will leave in July.
Nobody is leaving - stop the hate and misinformation

Such a dumb statement. Not an FVU parent. In fact a direct competitor at two age groups—2010 and 2012. Even I can see that club has success.
2007: 2nd place
2008: 9th place
2009: 5th place
2010: 1st place
2011: 7th place
2012: 5th place
Two top teams. Two competitive teams. Two bad teams. They don’t compare to top teams in TX or CA. But FVU compares favorably to any other ECNL or GA club in the DMV.
2010s play great soccer. And after watching 2012s play my DD team twice, and watching them at tournaments, that team is strong. Also my DD’s friends on 2013 say the FVU 2013 team will be the best in the DMV.

This was probably just a pot-stirrer comment but I agree that the outgoing girls to VDA aren’t nearly as good as they think they are. They are very good players but they have been coddled for years and led to believe that they are better than they really are.
The incoming girls are good. The turnover in talent should really be a wash but the team culture should be light years better as long as the new coach doesn’t continue the previous trends.
The big x-factor is the team losing their keeper to Arlington. She’s very good and the team will sorely miss her. I think there will be significant impact to the W/L column without her.
Don’t sleep on the drama that this season is bound to bring. You still have the same toxic sideline of certain parents cursing at players. Remember when someone posted that BP was going to stop that when he took over? Didn’t happen. Same parents arguing with refs and getting kicked out. I think the VDA parents who believe they are untouchable are about to get a rude awakening from the new parents coming in.

This person knows what they are talking about. Especially the part about certain players being coddled and the goalie issue. You are spot on.
