I just have one anecdote. I as in the Bahamas recently and was talking to grandparents with their two grandchildren. They were from Canada and asked me where my daughter and I were from. I told her we’re Canadian and gave my mother’s hometown as ours. It felt pretty good and I love where my mother grew up. Anyway they said that they had gone to Florida almost every winter but never again. There are so many beautiful islands in the same area, Paradise City, Bermuda, Barbados, Saint Lucia, even Mexico. Canadians don’t need Florida to escape the cold weather.

Canadians may not need FL, but a lot of them own their homes or condos there. They may have to change their mind to not have to sell at the same time as everyone else.

if you own real estate in florida you need to sell that ASAP... climate change is bringing nothing good your way!
