Nothing yet. Maybe Johnson doesn’t have the votes?

What happened to all the squawking about getting the deficit and debt under control?
Can he do even that without Dem votes?
I think Dems shouldn't give him the votes, even for a CR, if they can't trust Trump will actually spend the money on the things it was appropriated for.
A lot of the stupid bloat needs to be cut because dems let Biden administration through money at everything without thinking. I feel ashamed as a US taxpayer for the kind of things coming out of USAID and we don't money to support people at FEMA. Go ahead and some of you would come up with something silly to support why we couldn't support or bureaucracy or something else.
DP. There have been hiring freezes for most of the past ten years. Last year, lots of agencies were finally able to hire lots of new employees, both young grads and older more experienced employees to help build the replacements of the old-timers who are facing retirement. Not bloat but needed people.
Then Elon Musk fired them all.
I am not talking about employees. They have significant number of contractors but my main concern is how they are spending money on some of these stupid programs. How could they allow it?

Maybe. I mean, if it were merely a clean CR, it would still continue Trump's current impoundment and would allow impoundment through the rest of the fiscal year. Dems (and some Rs) are not amused.
Yeah, there are a few poison pills in this one.
And now the GOP is trying to give away its power on tariffs through the CR, which may strengthen the senate Dems spines’
