Executed for trespassing?

A mob of hundreds forcefully breaching security at the US Capitol on a day when election results are being certified is a much bigger deal than common trespassing but it is still far from an offense that warrants executions. Grow up people.

There are many countries in this world that would have executed those idiots swiftly.

Leftwingers who threw molotov cocktails at a police car were given a slap on the wrist. A regime of harsh punishments for Republicans no punishment for Democrats will not be tolerated.

What about the thousands of violent left wing protesters who besieged the White House for three days in June of 2020? They set fire to St John’s Church, the burned out the AFL-CIO office building at 16th and I, they destroyed the stone building in the northeast corner of Lafayette Park, and they injured 168 police officers and National Guard members with bricks, bottles, super soakers filled with bleach, jars of urine, and explosives.

Not even a SINGLE person was charged.

Take your J6 pardon outrage, roll it up tight, and shove it up your anus.

+100
But I think you and the PP are in agreement.

+1000 I wish Trump had been president in 2020 so law and order could have prevailed during those riots.

I estimate that 3-4% of these pardoned felons will be right back in jail next week after celebratory mishaps involving a drunken brawl, poor judgment with a firearm, or driving under the influence.

We don't believe in executions, remember? Too cruel.

But we do. We kill people for less all the time.

There’s not Democratic Party high ground on “rule of law” after Biden.

So now a 1000+ violent people, Trump's most rabid supporters, are back on the streets, having learned the lesson that, as long as they commit their crimes in service of Donald Trump, they're untouchable.

What could ever go wrong?

The injustice of being convicted of lesser crimes than trying to overthrow the election? Those poor people!

In the eyes of the protestors, the “election” was fake. They thought they were protesting tyranny.

Yes I feel bad they’ve rotted for 4 years with no trial. Unjust and UnAmerican.

So using this insane logic it would be fine to assassinate the president IF you “thought” he was a fascist who was harming US citizens?!

Guess the MAGAs never learned in school that ignorance is no excuse.

lol…school?

Trump loves the uneducated

“More than 150 police officers from the two agencies were injured during the assault on the Capitol by a pro-Trump mob four years ago. Some were hit in the head with baseball bats, flagpoles and pipes. One lost consciousness after rioters used a metal barrier to push her down as they marched to the building.

Now many of those officers described themselves as struggling and depressed in response to Mr. Trump freeing their attackers.

In the days and weeks after the riot, several police officers at the Capitol on Jan. 6 died, including Officer Brian D. Sicknick of the Capitol Police, who was attacked by the mob, suffered a stroke and died of natural causes on Jan. 7. Officers Jeffrey Smith of Washington’s Metropolitan Police Department and Howard S. Liebengood of the Capitol Police died by suicide in the days after the violence.”

Trump releasing these violent convicted criminals back into society is unforgivable. The fact that he did it after they attacked the Capitol to stop the functioning of our government solely to benefit him makes it treasonous and deeply unamerican. No matter what else he does, this will live in infamy as one of the worst actions in our country’s history.

Exactly. I wouldn’t use enemies in quotes. Trump and MAGA believe their fellow liberal Americans are truly enemies.
