And yes.
Several have full rides and NIL deals.

It’s not just coaching skill anymore so say what you will about Speaks but he understands the assignment.

if he’s recruiting so hard, why does he only have 8 freshman playing lacrosse this year? Has he decided to just recruit upperclassman transfers? That’s mostly what episcopal does and top lax boarding schools.
the cat is out of the bag with SJC and Speaks. He over-recruits and has a reputation for recruiting right over kids and making false promises to players / parents. In his defense, he is running SJC and its recruiting efforts borderline like a D3 program.
Catholic families are more inclined to still look at GZ, GP and even GC now.
I agree with this. Speaks over-played the 21 and 22 results and made too many promises to too many families. It's been mentioned before but there will be a number of 27's and then 28's who won't see the field until senior season. Then there's the problem of college. I don't see but a handful of players over the last 4 years who have gone on to a college where they couldn't get into on their own. That's fine, but that's not the promise he makes when he talks to families. He specifically says he can get your son into a school the same as GP or Gonzaga.
