Yet their Democrat politicians slashed the budget, so the entire fire department has been grossly under funded and understaffed for years and years.
Sheer evil. Shame on Democrats.

Do you believe the that North America was once covered by an ice sheet, but it is not now? Human caused climate change is settled fact.

That is absurd. Like really, one of the dumbest posts.
That is like saying we know what gravity is and how it works. We know gravity exists- not really able to figure out how it works. If knew we would have anti-gravity propulsion and not lame airplanes and rockets.
Climate is changing- but we also know that our climate has gone through massive changes previously. So life on this planet has to adapt or go extinct.
Those massive changes occurred over thousands, 10s of thousands of years. You're not going to adapt in mere decades and that's what we are observing. Your gravity example - clearly you are the one who doesn't understand even that basic concept, we actually know how it works. Stop posting and embarrassing yourself.
Uh, climate changed started in the 1970s. That is 50 years of measurable carbon increases. Not like California woke up one day and was like - “hey our weather patterns are changing and winds varying”.
Not that hard to plan for it.
Actually, we noticed climate change first in the 1970s, but it started with the industrial revolution.

Do you believe in flat earth theory too?

Santa Ana , Diablo and Sundown winds occur only at seasonal times. If they occurred all the time LA, Oakland and Santa Barbara wouldn’t exist.
They aren’t a year round occurrence. There are wind farms out near Livermore and Stockton. They are on flatter rolling hillsides not canyons. I also don’t think you can have a line of windmills in a canyon as it’s too steep.
I just checked, Ca gets its power from the following: Nat gas (45%), solar (24%), wind (7%), hydro (14%), nuclear (2.7), one coal plant in San Bernardino, and other.
They need to cut that nat gas percentage, if they are going to scream climate change every time this happens. They look like hypocrites.
No you’ve got the wrong stats. The US is 45 natural gas, CA is 36%.
