W&M is also renovating the whole campus and expanding because it grew some 500 students over the past few years. What do you mean slipping?
Yeah I think it's had one of the greatest percentage growths of all the publics since 2020. Now at over 7k undergraduates, and 10k total population. It will also be becoming R1 next fall which will bring more graduate students and research opportunities.
Yes, I forgot about the new research classification which reminds me of the fact that they've continually increased the funding going towards undergraduate research (i think 5-10% jump this year compared to last year).
Which reminds me of the grant they got earlier this year (maybe this month?) that is going to allow them to fund even more internships for students (which has also been increasing the past few years (school-funded internships))
