That places your child around the 87-90% percentile. How is that not doing well?
This obsessive tracking of numbers has to stop. I’ve been teaching high school for 20 years and I’m increasingly worried about the pressure students are under.
And guess what? Even the students with “low grades” (defined as Bs) are getting into great schools. And my own daughter, who scored a 1280 on the SAT, got into every school she applied to with merit. Why stress out children out? They will be okay.
People need to relax. This isn’t healthy.
