And not taking the call is even more politically motivated.

Social Darwinism. I’m oddly okay with that.

If only he could drop the pandering to the Christian hard right bull crap and focus this way all the time. He could have been a good governor.
He IS a good governor.
He is NOT a good governor.
Zero books last year in my kids' public high school library. ZERO.
Read that again (if you can, I assume you didn't attend DeSantis' public schools). ZERO books in a public high school library.
Because of DeSantis and his culture wars.
He's a monkey.

He IS a good governor.
His policy on insurance is going to kill the state.
His policy in immigration has made construction more expensive.
He gutted higher education in the state, which will show in the coming years as the brain drain continues.
But oh, those shrimp boots were awesome.
Florida's higher education is not in trouble.

No, they are not US citizens who pay taxes.
Ok, so no bail ours for Trump and his friends who brag about NOT paying taxes
Regardless of your opinions on any politician or area of the United States, our citizens should come first. Period.

Like they do with their storms and rainy seasons.
Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:DeSantis has been preparing for Tampa hurricane for years.
Yes. That is why traffic is backed up for miles and gas stations are running out of gas. That’s not preparation.

Global warming in 1916, huh?

And 60 year and 90 year ocean heating and cooling cycles.
And long 6-7 year weather transitions before those cycles.
And El Niño and Nina 7 year ocean cycles
All factor in. All the time. Earth is awesome!!!

Same for California.
Places hard hit by wildfires are far from "rich". They actually vote red because it tends to be in rural areas.
My coworker's 90 yr old grandmother was impacted by two fires.
There are poor areas in every state. California has many wealthy areas.
