Yes. It’s strange they don’t open the silver spring pool more hours or the other county pools.

They don't pay for the county pool time so the question is a reasonable one of who will pay for the pool time at the MC or JCC or other locations. Will they raise the fees again?
That's a longstanding false narrative - they do pay for the county pool time. And I'm quite sure they will also have to pay wherever else they end up. No free lunch.
Prices for everything are going up, I wouldn't be surprised if club swim fees go up too.

Different from the ones listed above?
That's what is odd about the "nightmare" comment...I think it was a weak troll attempt.
The updated schedule is mostly the same as the initial schedule they sent out, only minor tweaks/adjustments. The most significant change was the "Senior" group was split into Senior A and Senior B and they added the dryland times... aside from that it was just minor adjustments to what was already posted above.
Yes, if you are in seniors and not guaranteed choice it’s a nightmare.
"If"...
I have not heard that they said you won't get a choice or the selection wont be based on where you live... With 2 days of overlap/being the same for A and B(Wed and Sun), it looks like they intentionally set up a north and south option to accommodate where people live - those north and west would likely favor the B group and those south and east would favor/select the A group. If that's the case, it seems like a pretty good plan to me.
But, if it turns out you live, say, someplace like North Farm and you have no say and get paced in Seniors A, then that would be a nightmare... but I haven't heard that this is the case so I'll hold off with the doom and gloom for now.
