The Innocence Project generally takes on only cases involving BIPOC accused persons.

The innocence project does not take a case then someone is free. It takes years. There is a status conference scheduled for a March 12

The Project publicly announced on January 18 that they had taken up the case and filed motions related to DNA testing of evidence. https://innocenceproject.org/statement-on-developments-in-the-scott-peterson-case-california/

You must not have much experience at all with the criminal justice process, poster. It will likely take years for this to play out and the evidence to be tested once the court approves the motions, if it does. The wheels of criminal justice barely grind in the USA, especially after covid and especially at the appellate level.

Right. I worked on the innocence project in college. We were on like year 7 of working on one of the cases by the time I got to it.

There is no way the guy I heard on those calls with Amber Frey cared AT ALL about his missing wife and baby.

Any updates on this case? It’s just so hard to believe that he murdered his wife and left not a shred of hard evidence. All circumstantial. And for Amber who didn’t know he was married and would have left him and also had a very small child herself. Doesn’t make sense.

I thought she was found with her body rather mangled. The documentary did not make it seem like her body was in a state of being able to wear clothes. Interesting.

The dog was found wandering around 15 min before the burgled neighbor left their house.

All the sightings of Laci report black pants and a white shirt. She was not found in black pants and a white shirt. She was found wearing tan pants. The burglars said they robbed the house on the 26th, two days after she went missing.

The criminals lied and forced her to change clothes because the marina has a dress code.
