The backbone of FCV left. GA is dead.
Nah. I might have believed that statement a couple of years ago when FCV was beating GA teams 10-0 and their only real competition was strong ECNL teams. But that's not the case anymore.
At least in the Mid Atlantic GA FCV, has a harder time beating GA teams than decent ECNL teams. So either GA is getting stronger in the MA or ECNL is getting watered down weaker.
But true, if FCV goes away in the DMV, so does GA representation... at least for a while.

They have no standards. Some of their lower teams are just coached by random parent. They also will take any player with a pulse willing to pay the fees, so at least its consistent.
That is completely untrue in regards to random parents coaching. Valors main issue is Ellis has not set any standard or expectations in the coaches. Meaning if a new coach takes over a new age group its like a reset. Training is not consistent, and game management is even worse. The club should have a uniform approach for development and playing style. The CYA merger really killed the progress SYA made.

No.

There are 9 PWSI players on VDA 2011.
Seems like a good amount rolling over. Wonder how that compares to the other 2011's clubs that merge like Union, or NVA.
Union 2011 has mostly McLean kids and NVA has mostly Loudon kids.

Wonder which pays the most? That is all that is going to matter to possible hires because each of these clubs has successful teams.
Loudoun then FCV then VDA.
FCV and Loudoun are more attractive jobs than VDA. Vda does not have the talent.
Problem with VDA is half of the program wants to play reasonably skilled possession football (QP & PWSI) and the other half wants to play trash, concussion ball (ML & VSA).
