Legacies get a preference. Being Jewish does NOT give you any advantage. If anything, it hurts an applicant.
Of corse it does. Jews are 2% of the population but make up 10-14% of each class. You think every of group in the admissions process is carefully thought out and balanced by some matrix..but not Jews? The admissions numbers are very high based on percentage of population and it is consistent overtime.
