#1 Good for the Hero’s girls for trying out for Capital. But in my honest opinion, makes no sense to leave one good program for another

#2 Going to be a lot of upset parents from many different clubs, but just Stars. Please do not forget that BLC 27 was ranked very highly last year and they all thought they were just going to be transitioned from BLC Blue to Capital Blue. Goes what, what wasn’t the case

#3 just because your team is ranked highly in middle school don’t mean it will transfer into their high school team. Middle school is very much an individual game. Meaning, if you have a couple of really strong players, you will be a great team. But that doesn’t transition to high school. You have to be a very strong TEAM player. This will hurt some of the girls that are used to always having the ball in their sticks and just going straight to goal with it

I personally know a 24 who reached out to LI and told them they don’t help. So, get your facts straight

Working the room for years can be helpful, but you need to have a talented player to push. So be realistic about the player's level of talent and potential before investing the time in politics. No amount of politicking in seventh grade is going to trick D1 coaches, and Capital knows this. Ultimately talent wins.

Not what I was told. They take care of their own LI people. They don't care about players getting recruited outside Long Island. YJ North, YJ South, YJMA... they are all franchises, and add revenue to the coffers. That's all. Truth.

Not truth. I personally know that TW from LI YJ has helped girls outside the LI club.
