PP from above, adding -- the earlier PP talking about promotion is right, too. I read today that one reason (well, among many) that "The Marvels" movie likely was such a huge flop is because no one could promote it in any way before it premiered, no interviews, no talk show appearances, no promo events, etc. I expect we might see that cast out trying to hit the late night shows and entertainment chat circuit very hard to try to get someone to see that movie before it disappears.

Actors working other projects about to come out are going to do double-time to promote in upcoming weeks, I'm sure. I'm looking forward to the new "Percy Jackson and the Olympians" series on Disney+ and figure we'll see a big blitz for that. Disney must have been sweating bullets in concern that the strike would go on long enough to affect that expensive series' debut promotions!

If you saw interviews with actors during the strike period, note that those were done before the strike began or were for productions which were allowed to film and promote under waivers from the union. That's my understanding at least. I did see quite a few promo interviews during the strike with clear labels on them saying "Interview was conducted before the SAG-AFTRA strike" etc.
